We were saddened to learn that Roland Higgs. the newest member of the Senior Caucus board, has unexpectedly passed away. Roland was active in developing the statements on issues important to seniors and their families. He had a special interest in promoting legislation to reduce or remove the federal income tax on Social Security benefits. We will miss his insights and activism.
