Forum on National Healthcare Solutions (Meeting)
We invite you to join us to learn about and find solutions to the crisis in national health care. Join Face to Face For Change (F2F) on Tuesday, May 12 where we will share each others’ health care stories and learn about proposed national and Minnesota health care being discussed today in the press and in the halls of government. We believe Minnesotans should know what is being proposed and determine for ourselves how we feel about these proposals and what we should do about it.
The American health care system is burdening our economy and failing our citizens despite the fact that we spend more per person on healthcare here than any other country($2.1 trillion or 16% of all domestic spending–GDP). Yet, we get far less for what we pay.

There is metered parking that is free after 6 pm on Maria Street 1/2 block from the library and on available street parking on 7th street just past Maria (and surrounding neighborhoods). The Metropolitan State Parking Lot at Maria Street (north of 7th street) just in front of the campus can be purchased for $2.50 (flat fee). The parking lot is a very short walk to the library.
