The new (June 1, 2010) Health and Human Services (HHS) website is intended to keep Americans knowledgeable and up to date on the intricacies of health care in the United States after the recent historic legislation, and to do this in language that main street and country roads Americans can understand. The home page is:

Todd Park is considered the “best internet explainer” in America of this complex subject. He joined HHS in the late summer of 2009 to make this information easily accessible and understandable as promised by the President. Remember, this is not a finished product, probably never will be. As Todd says, “This is your site, not ours. With your help, we’ll make HealthCare.gov even better.”
